“I have had nothing but good feedback from everybody involved. I actually think in the end it was more of a success with the wider range of activities instead of just the sailing. There has already been talk about doing something similar in the future so I dare say you will here from us again at some point in the future.”

“Many thanks to you and your team for a great event on Thursday. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. In particular I had really good feedback from the people that did the land events to say the guys running the event got involved and made it a lot of fun.”
Rosalyn Zimba Barings
“You all did a fantastic job. The staff and instructors at Hove Lagoon were fab, and my whole team had a fantastic time. They really enjoyed themselves, I have the evidence ie pics and video to prove it! J Even though the weather was rubbish, it didn’t dampen spirits they all just went for it. Thank you also for laying on the food and drink for half time, lovely idea.”
Karen Oracle
“I really loved the kayak polo, but I think the ringo was the biggest hit with everyone. All your team were superb, and everything went really smoothly. We’d definitely like to come back and do more.”

We provide specialist equipment. In the winter months it can be cold, thermals, fleeces, woolly hats are all useful to have. During the summer months bring sun hats, sun block and sun glasses. Quick drying clothes can be very practical instead of jeans and good none slip, non marking footwear. Trainers often work well. We hire out our Musto waterproofs if required. Bring a swim suit and towel if weather conditions are suitable and you fancy a swim. For the jet skis wetsuits are provided, if you have your own, please bring it.
For the sailing trips you are welcome to bring drinks (except red wine), there is a large fridge onboard the yacht. For snacks just bear in mind the motion of the boat so it is not practical to lay out food.
To drive a jet ski you need to be 16+. Powerboat rides as a guide are 12+. We do not recommend pregnant women or persons with bad backs to partake in the jet ski or powerboat rides.

Part of the enjoyment of our activities out on the ocean is being in the elements, so it is important to be versatile to make the best of the conditions. If we cannot run an activity on a day due to weather conditions and high winds we are fortunate that we can move your activity to Hove Lagoon (4 miles away) where our inland lagoon next to the beach will give shelter for an alternative activity. We cannot refund any event unless we cannot offer any alternative activity or find suitable alternative dates.
Yes, we run all these events from Barcelona. For more information go to: www.barcelonawatersports.es
We have an experienced and professional team of instructors that teach: RYA Sailing Level 1, RYA Sailing Level 2 and RYA Sailing Level 3.
Our sailing courses are run on our 24ft Delphia Keelboats. A Keelboat is a step up in size from dinghies, more like a small manageable yacht but not as big as a cruising yacht. They can bridge the gap between dinghies and cruisers, offering many benefits of both, to the adult beginner. Yacht sailing is on bigger sailing yacht and requires different more intensive training, such as; RYA Competent Crew and RYA Dayskipper.
The two day RYA Sailing Level 1
Our "Learn to Sail" course is run over two weekends and covers RYA Sailing Level 1 and Level 2. By the end you should be able to take a small sail boat out to sea confidently in light weather conditions.
Maximum 4 persons per boat. The instructor will be onboard for most of the training but they start to teach from the safety boat in the level 2 to give you more independence.
Over weekends, from March to October. We do also run one weekday courses and private tuition.
The courses start from our base in Brighton Marina: Pontoon 6, Brighton Marina, Brighton, East Sussex BN2 5UP, UK.

Part of the enjoyment of sailing is being out in the elements, so it is important to be versatile to make the best of the conditions. If we cannot sail on a day due to weather conditions we will endeavour to cover theory and other useful skills such as mooring practice, rigging and de-rigging. At times we might cut short a course in which case you will be offered further day/s/times at another suitable date.
We have our Coastal Sailing Club, that gives regular access to the water with clinics and racing for members. For more information go on our Coastal Sailing Club
