Experience a stylish and energetic team building event with our Sailing Race experience from Brighton Marina. Enjoy your mini Americas Cup style event
Your group is split into teams and each boat is led by an RYA Instructor, ensuring everyone gets involved and stays safe. After a safety briefing and getting kitted up, you’ll head out along the beautiful Brighton coastline for an exciting hands-on session.
You’ll spend the first part learning the essentials of sailing: trimming sails, taking the helm, and practising tacks and gybes under expert guidance of our RYA qualified skippers.. Once everyone is confident, we set a short race course to keep the action tight and competitive. With a countdown start inspired by major sailing events, teams push for maximum speed across the line as the race begins. It’s a brilliant mix of pressure, fun and teamwork – and a perfect way to bring groups together.
A prize-giving with bubbly can be arranged, and when conditions allow, there’s even the chance for a dip in the sea or a relaxed drink onboard. This sailing race event offers an unforgettable coastal experience that blends challenge, teamwork and stunning views.
Afterwards relax with a drink in hand while taking in the sights. Start and finish at Brighton Marina, where you can explore shops, restaurants, bars, a cinema complex, and even a casino for post-sail socialising and team bonding.
Weather permitting, you may take a dip in the sea and enjoy a drink onboard. Our yacht sailing is a truly unforgettable therapeutic experience not to be missed!

What to bring
- Be prepared for changeable weather, bring plenty of layers
- Quick drying clothes can be very practical, avoid jeans
- Sunglasses, sunhat and suncream for summer months and woolly hats, thermals and layers for winter months
- Deck boots and non-slip deck shoes or trainers that don’t mark
- Towel and swimwear if you fancy taking a dip
- If you suffer from any kind of motion sickness then it may be wise to take a sickness prevention tablet before arriving and/or wear the wrist bands!!
