Pre Flotilla Holiday Yacht Training
Chartering is an excellent way to enjoy boating without any of the hassles, fortunately the RYA qualifications are world wide recognised and we offer a great range of packages to get you ready. The RYA Dayskipper is normally required by most charter companies, some in the European Union prefer the International Certificate of Competence which is aligned with the dayskipper and this is just a simple paperwork exercise once you have your Dayskipper.
Novice sailors
If you have little experience the best option is our Zero to Dayskipper Training Package.
Experienced sailors
If you already have plenty of experience you might of in the past been able to charter without a licence, but nowadays it is rare for any charter company not to require a licence. You are best emailing or speaking to us so we can best advice what route to take, this could be a direct ICC assessment if chartering in European waters.
Also if you are already qualified you might just want some practice prior to your charter we can offer bespoke practice days which can also be very useful for the people you are chartering with so you are prepared and to make your holiday charter plain sailing
We also have a training centre in Barcelona which we can offer part of your training from especially useful if you plan to charter from the Mediterranean in the future.
RYA training to get you to your goal. Exact training plan will depend on your previous experience. Please contact us for advice on the best training plan for you.
