About Course
The Youth Coastal Sailing Club at Brighton Marina offers young sailors (aged 10+) with prior sailing course experience the chance to practice regularly at sea. Sessions are instructor-led, combining coaching with hands-on sailing in keelboats, and tailored to weather conditions to build skills, confidence, and friendships
Course Content
Proposed itinerary is to depart Brighton early hours, sail the 60 miles across the channel(straight distance so expect more) and head to Fecamp. If all goes to plan you will arrive in Fecamp for the evening and have an evening out in France. Next day we would normally have an easier day sail, maybe heading to Dieppe. Then another early start to head back to Brighton
If the winds are not suitable alternatives would be a sail around the back of the Isle of Wight to Poole, or into the Solent.
Course Objectives
Join peers of a similar age for exciting sailing experiences on the open sea. Build lasting friendships while continuing to develop your skills in a welcoming and supportive environment.
